The National Roundtable Against Mining (Mesa Nacional Frente a la Minería) held a press conference on June 1, 2012 to address the upcoming ruling by the ICSID of the World Bank. The ICSID ruled that the case would not proceed according to CAFTA-DR. However, the case will proceed under Salvadoran investment law, which allows the state to be sued by foreign investors.
